Consumer sentiment significantly higher than a year ago

In December 2024 the consumer sentiment index stood at –30 points. This is 14 points higher than in December 2023. The following sub-indices were higher than in December 2023: economic outlook, past financial situation, financial outlook and moment to make major purchases.
